Rouge Royale

A very easy to setup and use theme, with a luxurious look, Rouge Royale was built having in mind both a simple blog’s functionality and a more advanced site needs.
About this theme:
The theme has a featured content slider on the homepage where you can either pull posts from your blog, or use it with images that you can link to any location you need in the options page.
The homepage is also customizable in the options page where you can chose:
- how many posts to have on the homepage
- to have it publish your last entries, or to have a more advanced control over its content, publishing specific posts from any category you want, by the means of custom fields added to the post.
The posts on the homepage, archive and search pages are displayed as excerpts and you can chose in the options page to have a thumbnail for each post. The theme will search for the first image inserted into the original post and use it as thumbnail if this option is enabled.
The theme is also ads ready. You can enable/disable them in the options page. They are 125×125 image ads and you can add the images location and links in the corresponding boxes in the options page.
For your convenience, the theme comes with a contact page template, having a jquery powered contact form, very easy to setup and use. No plugin needed.
Also, you can input your google analytics code straight in the options page. No need for a plugin or edit any file.
Last, but not least, you can chose to have a logo image in the header, or simply text title (the title of your blog).
